cheap beauty tips...

I went out last night with my boyfriend and then we met up with some good friends, Emma knows that i always have her back and i will always stand by her! <3

So here are some of my favourite beauty tips,

1. olive oil combed through the hair. When your hair is wet but not dripping, I always comb a bit of olive oil in my hair to give it that lovely soft shiny look.

2. salt scrub, using olive oil and rock salt, mixing it in a bowl and applying it to wet skin. Giving your skin a good scrub to get rid of all those dead skin cells.

3. instead of forking out £20 for a eyebrow wax or thread try these little beauties - eylure eyebrow waxing strips, (£3.75) they are brilliant as the shape is already there. You just peal them of stick them on and bare the pain. This was the first time i had tried to wax at home and i didnt even feel the pain. My eyebrows were slightly red afterwards so don't wax on the day of an important event!

4. Mixing your moisturiser with your foundation for a tinted moisturiser. This is great if you don't want the full coverage of your foundation but you don't want to pay out for a tinted moisturiser. Mix it in the lid or on the back of your hand to get the right consistency.

5. Loose powder under the eye while your doing smokey eye or very complicated eye make up. Putting the loose powder underneath means if any shadow falls down under the eye you can just brush the powder off and it sweeps away the shadow too. :)

Mac peacock.

So i went shopping the other day in Colchester, with my best friend Amy. We had a great time, but the best bit was visiting my FIRST Mac store!! It was fab and i was really impressed with the service. I didnt need anything paticular but i managed to walk away with a concealer and mineral powder which are great!

When i got back home i noticed they had slipped a little paper about the Peacock range. It had a lovely picture of the peacock look on a models eye. So i tried to re-create the look. :) Just a special shout out to my loveellyy best friend, shes literally the weirdest and funniest girls i have ever met, but i love her <3 xxx

Urban Decay, 15th anniversary eye liner set.

This was a lovely present from my Boyfriend for valentines. The eye liner set had 15 eyeliners in and even some new ones made specially for this set.

Its absolutely fab! The eye liners last all day on your lids and go on really easily with their soft smudgy texture. The colours are highly pigmented and blend very well.

But enough talking, here are some pictures ...

Body Shop Seaweed Face Mask review.

Hi, hope everyone is alright, i decided to do a face mask the other day thinking my skin needed a pick me up. I routed through my draws to find this beauty. The body shop seaweed face mask, designed for normal to oily skin. I get an oily T-zone so thought i would put this one on.

This is what they say- "A deep-cleansing mask treatment with algae extracts and combined natural ionic clay action to draw impurities from the pores and absorb excess oil. Enriched with minerals to condition and revitalise the skin." This mask is called "ionic clay mask" so it goes on your skin cool and soft, when it dries it gets very hard and begins to crumble.

I feel this mask works wonders when its on your skin, i can feel the cooling effect it has.

The packaging and price are good, when i bought this product it only cost me about £9 but the current price is £11. The packaging is plain and simple but i like the clean pot and it doesn't dry around the edges leaving a mess.

After using the mask i found my skin to be a bit tight, i needed to moisturise afterwards. It does leave my skin very soft and my face feels cleansed.

The only problem is washing it of, you will need a muslin cloth or sponge to get it off because of how it dries on. But i would expect that with a clay mask. So over all i would rate this product about 8/10. It leaves my skin lovely and is perfect for oily, combination skin.
