Benefit Sun Beam

Evening guys, hope your all enjoying your week, and looking forward to the Jubilee weekend, I'm going away to see some family!

I bought this the other day with my friend Emma, we were in Debenhams and there was 10% off everything in beauty and fragrance! Wooo

I've been using it every day since, instead of my High Beam, I wanted something a little more summery and bronze since Im not as pasty white as normal!

I actually like it better mixed in with my foundation because it then spreads across all my face to give a glowy base.

I really like the golden case and the size of the brush, just like the High beam it lasts all day and is very versatile.

I got this one for around £16 but I think it retails at around £18.50

When I first got this I didn't think it was working very well, and that it was really weak. When I tried it with the foundation it worked really well!!

So ill keep going with it!

OPI Flashbulb Fushia

Hey everyone, I seriously love how bright this polish is, makes me feel all girly and summery!!

Its opaque in about 2 coats but works much better with a base and top coat, I use Sally Hansen clear coats.

A few empty products!

Afternoon guys, hope everyone is enjoying the sun!

I've used up these products over the last few weeks, some of them I have re-bought some I haven't/wont.

The mango shower gel and mango body scrub are brilliant, they smell amazing! The body scrub is very gritty so really gets all the dead skin. The Mango shower gel lasts me foreveerr, I've had this bottle for around 5 months now, although I haven't used it all the time, a little really goes a long way!

The Original source shower gel is something i've blogged about before, I will be re-purchasing this again and again. This is actually my 2nd bottle!

The Aussie shampoo has to be my new love, this is my 2nd bottle and I am already on my next one, I re-purchased the mega sized ones and its honestly the best shampoo i've tried in years!

The other empty product is my old Clarins moisturiser, I haven't bought it again because I found it a bit heavy on my skin, instead i've been using my Clinique lotion, which is lovely!

Anyway, I hope everyone enjoys their weekend, thanks for reading! Oh and hi to my new followers! :D

Illamasqua Throb Nail Varnish- classic red

Love this nail varnish its such a classic pillar-box red, its opaque with one coat and stays chip free for around 4-5 days !

Now i'm off placement for a while I can wear nail varnish (yess) its something I really look forward to in the evenings! Im so sad...

I love picking out the colours and prep'ing my nails for the polish!

I love the illamasqua products and they've got some really pretty colours out this summer, I would buy more of their nail varnishes.

Revlon lip butter- my "no foundation" look :D

Afternoon all, god hasn't it been so nice out today! I've been cleaning all day (yay)

I was really inspired by Vivanna's blog post about her no foundation look and I thought I'd try it out for myself :D (http://www.viviannadoesmakeup.com/)

I'm also loving the Revlon lip butters they are really pigmented and smooth so its a lovely combination of lipstick and lip balm! This colour is Cotton Candy :D

This look took be about 10 mins to do  and I have to say I think i'll do it again obviously it doesn't have as much coverage because i'm not wearing any foundation!

I used my concealer around my eyes and cheeks just to give me a bit of coverage, and lots of highlighter (benefits high beam) and my Mac transparent powder.

I'm wearing urban decay eye liner and eye shadow from naked2 palette.

Jane Shilton bag

I went shopping on Saturday with my best friend and I have been on the hunt for a bag this style for ages! I finally found it! Yaaaayy

It was £29 reduced from £75 in Tkmaxx :D such a good shop!

Its beige sand colour and its really soft leather. I thought i'd just show you all my new laavverllyy bag :D Its so nice and i've already filled it up! ha

Clearasil Daily Clear- Vitamins and Extracts scrub

I bought this scrub a while back and I thought I would wait 'till I could properly review it. I saw it on Holly's blog- http://hollyarabella.blogspot.co.uk/ who by the way does the most awesome reviews, always check out her blog before I buy anything! ha

Its a daily face scrub something a bit less strong than my "DIY face scrub" something I can use every other day on my skin to brighten it up!

Its got a creamy texture with small beads in it, obviously to scrub away all the dirt and dead skin cells. Its a kind of blue/green colour which doesn't really bother me!

It cost me around £3.99 from tesco but superdrug do some offers some times, which is always worth checking out.

This scrub has helped improve the look and feel of my skin in around 2 weeks use. It obviously isn't a miracle worker, and will not improve your skin alone, you need to remove your make-up, cleanse, tone and moisturise daily and drink plenty of water... but this scrub DOES make a difference with all those things combined. Its a cheap way to improving your skin and doesn't take that much time/effort as you wash your face every day anyway (i hope, all you grubby lot out there!) :D

That's my mum's hand, thanks mum :D <3

My lipstick brings all the boys to the yard...

Afternoon everyone, hope your having a good weekend! I've been shopping with my best friend and bought a new bag !! Yesss

I put on this Revlon Lip butter in Raspberry Pie this morning and after a few hours took it off, i'm not brave enough yet! Ha

I think when its summer I will wear this shade more often, I love trying out different looks with make-up, you can really experiment with how to look different.

I normally opt for bright eyes and soft lips, but its nice to have a change.

New products

I bought a few things from Clinique at the weekend, I've been really depressed about my skin at the moment and i'm trying out some new products to see if that helps.

I popped into town with mum on Saturday and while she got an iPhone I bought this skincare pack from Clinique, its for oily combination skin and contains facial soap, toner and the moisturising lotion. Its a great pack because it gives you the products you need but smaller versions, so you can try them all out for a month or so. It takes around 28 days for a new skincare regime to show effect so i'm going to hang in there with these ones.

I also bought 'all about eyes'  its a product i've been using since I got a sample, I can't fault it at all, love this eye cream/gel.

I really like the Clinique skincare its something I haven't used that much because I heard some bad stuff about them in the past. I'm willing to give them a chance to fix my skin. Ha

Estee Lauder Double Wear

Estee Lauder Double Wear.

This is just a little review of this foundation that i'm trying at the moment, I got a free sample when I went to ask what my shade is.

I'm not actually sure whether I like it or not, (ha) its not a foundation i've ever tried before and there is so much hype about it. I was looking for a foundation that lasted all day, I work on the wards and in all places as a student nurse. I have to work ridiculous hours and need my make up to stay on.

Like i've said before, im still trying this one out but I thought i'd post a picture of my make up for work the other day.

As a student nurse I have to tone down my make up and choose soft colours with slightly coloured lips, I have to be professional but still be myself, its not always easy to get a good balance.

Sorry I look really annoyed in these photo's, i'd been to the gym and done loads of work and it wasn't even mid-day. Oh well now you all know my grumpy face! ha

I've been making a concious effort to wear more on my lips, the main reason I bought the body shop lip balm in pomegranate, it has a lovely redy pink colour that lasts on my lips,

Im actually wearing the collection 2000 cream puff in Cotton Candy in these photo's.

I'm wearing the Naked2 palette from Urban Decay, not sure which shades to be perfectly honest.

I think you can see in these photo's that double wear can be slightly cakey, i've been trying it with a primer underneath, it hasn't been making that much of a difference to be honest. Ill keep trying it and trying to make it work before I buy a bottle.
